Aleph from Ruth K. Burke on Vimeo.

Aleph is a reference to the history of the letter A, the first character of the alphabet. This character was derived from Egyptian hieroglyphs depicting an ox's head. The movement of the characters was inspired by drone footage of cattle being moved through thresholds, from one large pasture to another, thus allowing the soil in the depleted pasture to rest.
